Your guide to a balanced life |
Clinical hypnotherapy uses relaxation for the treatment of psychologically based issues. A clinical hypnotherapist, like your doctor, is bound by ethical and moral codes, including confidentiality. Do you feel stuck with your problems and bad habits? Struggling to break bad habits, solve your problems or achieve your goals? Let me help you to bring about the changes that you want in your life by harnessing the power of your unconscious mind using hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy (CBH). The unconscious mind versus good and bad habits The unconscious mind cannot distinguish between a good habit and a bad habit. When you establish healthy unconscious patterns, your mind will support healthy habits. So, in order to change your behaviour, we first need to change your unconscious mind. We will begin our sessions by exploring what satisfaction the unconscious derives from your unhealthy beliefs, lifestyle patterns or habits. Then we will transfer that satisfaction onto something that is more advantageous and beneficial. You will learn to rationalise your unhelpful beliefs and as a consequence you will find it easier to maintain healthier and more optimistic lifestyle. Safe, gentle, effective techniques Working together we will identify your unhealthy beliefs-demands, so you can weigh their pros and cons. I will help you rationalise them and create new more realistic preferences. During our sessions you will learn a set of practical techniques that you can use in daily life, such as self-hypnosis, breathing techniques and cognitive and behavioural exercises. These can be creative and fun and, after a little practice, you will effectively be your own therapist.
